The Storyline College Residency Program is a program that equips those desiring to reach the college campus with the gospel with the tools and resources in order to do that. This program also trains them up for a life of disciple-making and focuses on leadership development with a commitment to the growth and development of each resident in three facets:
- Doctrine and Theology
- Character and Affections
- Hands-on Skills.
In accordance with Storyline’s core values, a Storyline College Staff member serves the church in connecting God’s story to your story and the story of our city through reaching college students with the gospel, discipling them to be like Jesus and multiplying them to reach other students, our city and the rest of the world. These responsibilities are to be fulfilled through prayerful dependence on the Holy Spirit and the advancement of God’s kingdom.
- College Ministry: 20-25 hours per week
- Staff Meetings and Staff Trainings: 3-4 hours per week
- Character and Personal Development: 2-3 hours per week
- Professional Development: 1-2 hours per week
- Administration & Support Raising: 1-2 hours per week
- Sunday Services: 7 hours per week (available to serve different ministries)
Skills Required
- Commitment to reaching college students with the gospel and engaging in campus ministry
- Willingness to be discipled and to disciple others, focusing on multiplying leaders
- Participation in doctrine, theology, character development, and practical ministry training
- Availability to serve 20-25 hours per week in college ministry
- Attend staff meetings and trainings (3-4 hours per week) and participate in Sunday services
- Engage in personal and professional development time commitments (3-5 hours per week)
- Support raising and administrative responsibilities (1-2 hours per week)
- Alignment with Storyline’s core values and reliance on prayer and the Holy Spirit in ministry
What We Do
Christ Covenant is a multi-campus, Christ-centered church based in Atlanta, Georgia, dedicated to the mission of making disciples. Through the Christ Covenant Institute, the organization provides aspiring pastors and missionaries with opportunities to gain real-world ministry experience and pursue seminary-level training to equip them for biblically faithful service.
