About the role
We are seeking a Storeperson to join our team at Lineage in Christchurch.  This is a full-time position responsible for efficiently and accurately storing, retrieving, and distributing goods within our coldstorage operation.  You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of goods through our facility.

What you'll be doing

·       Receiving, unpacking, and inspecting incoming goods

·       Accurately storing items in designated locations using appropriate equipment

·       Retrieving and preparing items for dispatch, ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly

·       Operating forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently

·       Maintaining a clean, organised, and hazard-free work environment

·       Assisting with stock takes and inventory management as required

·       Following all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols

What we're looking for

·       Previous experience as a Storeperson or in a similar warehousing role

·       Forklift licence and/or experience operating material handling equipment

·       Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills

·       Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

·       Physical fitness to perform the required manual handling tasks

·       Commitment to workplace health and safety
