Job Description

Job title: Stockbroking Commercial Relationship Manager

Location: Leeds

Salary: £57,546 - £63,940

Hours: Full time

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Leeds office.

About this opportunity:

Established in 1997, we're LBG’s retail stockbroking arm providing an execution-only share dealing service to half a million customers. With substantial investment being made over the coming years in a new platform and improved customer journeys, we're poised for significant growth.

Our Stockbroking Commercial Team is the heart of this transformation. We're responsible for delivering the sales plan for Stockbroking by understanding customer behaviour, crafting impactful marketing initiatives and collaborating with Marketing, Products and Digital to bring these initiatives to life.

As Commercial Relationship Manager, you'll help us craft and develop incentives and promotional activity that drive customer acquisition and engagement.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify, build and implement innovative propositions for various customer segments to meet market demands and improve customer value.
  • Collaborate across teams to develop pivotal initiatives for growth in segments like Private Banking, Mass Affluent and within Scottish Widows.
  • Build positive relationships with third parties (e.g. aggregators, affiliates, digital investment websites and research agencies) to gain market insights and drive customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Digital Customer Experience, Products, and our Transformation labs to build compelling content that attracts new customers whilst optimising the sales funnel.
  • Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to increase customer activity, reduce attrition and boost revenue per customer.
  • Proactively identify and anticipate commercial business opportunities to stay ahead of market trends.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Reporting Team to understand our customer base and identify segment-specific opportunities.

Why Lloyds Banking Group

Like the modern Britain we serve, we’re evolving. Investing billions in our people, data and tech to transform the way we meet the ever-changing needs of our 26 million customers. We’re growing with purpose. Join us on our journey and you will too!

What you’ll need:

  • Track record of delivering initiatives through to completion. (i.e. Developing the proposal, securing funding, working with multiple teams to deliver).
  • Experience of delivering projects that are commercially advantageous. You can represent D2C commercially with stakeholders both internally and externally of the group.
  • You've experience of rationalising business cases. You're adept as simplifying and explaining whilst maintaining a good working relationship.
  • To be proficient in Excel and producing PowerPoint presentations for senior management is a must. Knowledge of Adobe Analytics and Power BI would be beneficial, but the main thing is that you have a strong desire to develop these areas.
  • Experience of building business cases and funding rationales would be desirable.

And it’s why we especially welcome applications from under-represented groups. We’re disability confident. So, if you’d like reasonable adjustments to be made to our recruitment processes, just let us know.

We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:
