How You'll Make a Difference

  • Own day-to-day operations including equity transaction processing, file feed management, employee questions, etc...
  • Support efforts to grow and scale the function through automation, process improvement, and partnership with internal and external business partners
  • Support employee education and communication initiatives
  • Partner across Klaviyo's Finance, Legal, Payroll, People Technology and HR teams to ensure accurate budgeting, financial reporting, timely tax withholding and payroll reporting, and compliance with securities and tax laws, regulations and disclosure requirements
  • Prepare data analysis and forecast modeling scenarios for shares available, participant vesting, etc.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of equity-related processes for external audits and compliance with internal controls
  • Build best in class processes and process documentation
  • Participate in other compliance program development as needed
  • Special projects as needed, including ad hoc equity and tax research and efforts to develop, implement and improve processes that improve support of business clients

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or similar field
  • 7+ years' experience working in a global equity administration role for a public company
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting standards, taxation, laws and regulations related to equity compensation
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) certification preferred


The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. This role is eligible for benefits, including: medical, dental and vision coverage, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), flexible paid time off and company-paid holidays and a culture of learning that includes a learning allowance and access to a professional coaching service for all employees.
Base Pay Range For US Locations:
$136,000 - $204,000 USD
