About The Role:

The Statements & Investor Reporting Analyst plays an important role in supporting the accurate and timely delivery of client-facing communications and regulatory materials across Baird’s Private Wealth Management and broader business lines. This role is responsible for overseeing assigned reporting deliverables related to client statements, trade confirmations, proxy materials, prospectus documents, data feeds, and pricing support, while applying analytical thinking and process knowledge to ensure quality, resolve issues, and strengthen operational effectiveness.

Working from our Milwaukee headquarters in a collaborative team environment, this role partners closely with Operations, Technology, Compliance, and vendor partners to manage reporting-related activities, support audits and controls, and lead smaller projects and process improvements that enhance the client experience and support regulatory compliance.

The Impact You’ll Make

  • Own assigned reporting deliverables related to statements, confirmations, proxy materials, prospectus documents, and related investor reporting outputs, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery
  • Analyze reporting workflows, data feeds, and pricing-related information to identify issues, determine root causes, and coordinate resolution
  • Serve as a key point of contact for assigned processes, deliverables, platforms, or vendor-supported activities
  • Lead smaller projects and support implementation efforts related to reporting enhancements, workflow updates, or control improvements
  • Support and help coordinate audits, compliance reviews, control activities, and procedural documentation related to investor reporting processes
  • Monitor reporting trends, exceptions, and operational risks, and recommend improvements to strengthen quality and efficiency
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve issues, manage process changes, and maintain reliable reporting operations
  • Participate in testing, validation, and implementation support for system, file, or reporting changes
  • Provide guidance and support to specialists and senior specialists on day-to-day questions, exceptions, and process execution
  • Contribute to a strong control environment by identifying gaps, documenting findings, and helping implement process improvements

What You’ll Bring to Baird

  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in financial services, operations, or a related environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • FINRA Series SIE & Series 99 within 12 months of hire
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate reporting issues, research root causes, and recommend solutions
  • Working knowledge of financial services operations, reporting workflows, data feeds, and client communication processes
  • Ability to manage assigned deliverables and balance day-to-day responsibilities with project and audit-related work
  • Experience supporting audits, controls, procedural documentation, or process reviews
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to workflow or control enhancements
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in deadline-driven environments
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across Operations, Technology, Compliance, and external partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with reporting systems, vendor platforms, or data-driven processes
  • Experience with SQL Server a plus
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make informed decisions within established guidelines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team-based environment
