Raid and Rescue of Child Laborers
Ensuring regular identifications and surveys of child labour by the State Team in all the implementing States
Ensuring activation of DTF and regular meetings are held
Ensuring rescuing of the identified children in coordination with the concerned departments in all the implementing States
Registration of FIRs with all the relevant sections
Ensuring arrest of traffickers and sealing of premises
All the procedures of post rescue operations such as Production of Children before CWC, recording of Statement under 164, etc are properly followed and implemented.
Targets for rescue of children are achieved and a constant momentum for the rescue operations in all the Implementing States are maintained.
Follow Up of the rescued children
Ensuring that every child rescued are followed up for proper integration and rehabilitation in the society
Keeping a track of the benefits received by the children so that all the available benefits and schemes can be provided or ensured
Ensuring maintaining of proper details of the rescued children by the State Team for easy follow up through telephonic conversations, home visits, etc
Ensuring letters are written on a regular basis by the State Team to the concerned departments for providing all the benefits to the rescued children at the earliest
Ensuring Filing of RTIs by the State Team for ensuring rehabilitation and other relevant activities of the rescued children
Networking:
With Government/District Administration: for overall improvement of child protection & its strengthening.
Police: FIR & relevant section
CWCs : for rehabilitation
DCPU: for follow up & rehabilitation
CSO: for follow up, rehabilitation& rescue operation.

Skills Required
- Experience in planning and executing raid and rescue operations for child protection
- Ability to coordinate with police, district administration, CWCs, DCPU and civil society organizations
- Knowledge of child protection legal procedures (FIR filing, production before CWC, recording statements under 164)
- Experience in case documentation, report writing, and maintaining rehabilitation records
- Experience in follow-up, reintegration and rehabilitation of rescued children, including tracking benefits and schemes
- Ability to file RTIs and write formal communications to government departments
- Strong networking, advocacy and stakeholder engagement skills
