The Staffing Coordinator assures appropriate nursing staff are scheduled to meet resident care needs and regulatory requirements. This role also includes the below tasks:
· Daily staffing and scheduling
· Manages the clinical master schedule with the DON,
· Tracks attendance alongside staffing development
· Maintains staffing records
· Secures coverage for open shifts call offs, and vacations
· Support survey readiness by maintaining accurate staffing documentation
The ideal candidate will be a team player who works alongside the DON, Administrator, HR and staffing development to ensure the building is staffed according to census and that the PPD’s are calculated appropriately along with other assigned tasks.
We are looking for someone who is a team player, has a strong work ethic, and can work alongside floor staff and management.
Skills Required
- Schedule nursing staff to meet resident care needs and regulatory requirements

- Calculate and ensure appropriate PPDs and staff levels according to census
- Support survey readiness by maintaining accurate staffing documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively with DON, Administrator, HR, and floor staff (team player)
- Strong work ethic and ability to work alongside floor staff and management
