Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and update the facility's master schedule and daily staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Coordinate staffing assignments to meet resident care needs while complying with company staffing guidelines and state and federal regulations.
- Monitor daily staffing levels and proactively identify coverage gaps due to call-offs, vacations, leaves of absence, or census changes.
- Maintain accurate employee schedules, availability, shift preferences, and time-off requests within the scheduling system.
- Process schedule changes, shift swaps, and employee requests in accordance with company policies and established procedures.
- Communicate schedule updates promptly and professionally to employees through approved communication methods.
- Assist with orientation scheduling and ensure new employees are appropriately added to the staffing schedule.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee, resident, and company information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
- Support emergency staffing efforts during inclement weather, call-off events, or other operational needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications:
- Preferred certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and in good standing with the state.
- Must have no finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property
