What You Will Do:
- Development of electromechanical equipment used for product testing, including proof of concept, system development (electromechanical and software), engineering prints, validation, and implementation
- Identifies and implements safety/ergonomic and cycle time improvements within processes utilizing electromechanical equipment
- Accountable for ensuring assigned processes and process changes are compliant and documented in accordance with Stryker procedures and applicable regulations
- Develops and evaluates blueprints and engineering requirements of equipment to ensure sustainable repairability
- Partners with global service operations, supply chain, engineering, and other groups to solve process issues to drive customer satisfaction
- Committed to quality by striving for reliability and quality in our products, continuously searching for ways to enhance performance and meeting all training and documentation criteria
- Monitor and influence progress of projects to ensure sound application of engineering principles are used and design intent is being followed and achieved
- Ensure implementation of new/updated equipment is robust and sustainable, including buy-in from R&D, global usability, preventive maintenance, equipment installation and qualification, and cycle time optimization

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 4+ years of related engineering experience
- Strong technical writing skills for reports, work instructions, protocols, procedures, and correspondence.
- Ability to generate, follow, and explain detailed instructions and design parameters.
- Rapid Prototyping ability and skills which may include but are not limited to CAD, 3D printing, machine shop tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of statistical concepts and analyses
- Experience in qualification or validation studies
- Experience with new product development and design controls
