Lead flight test engineering for aircraft subsystems: plan, integrate, verify/validate, perform risk and trade studies, resolve complex electrical and embedded software issues, evaluate airworthiness and cybersecurity of modifications, and develop failure modes and test requirements.

- Ensure all safety requirements are met during testing, when recommending improvements, or noting deficiencies
- Provide technical expertise in solving complex electrical and software engineering problems
- Perform independent review of problems and develop solutions to support efficient workflow and increased situational awareness for aircrew
- Evaluate Airworthiness and cyber-security of aircraft modifications using data analysis and extraction tools for independent verification and validation of embedded software systems and data interfaces

Requirements
Education/Training (both required and desired):
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required
- Master’s Degree preferred
Experience:
- 12+ years of professional experience in the required task area
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Active Secret clearance or higher required
- Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $140,000 - 142,000
This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
