Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff Test Conductor to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test & Evaluation organization. This role is located in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
In this role, the Test Conductor will assist in supporting ground and flight test planning and execution efforts. This role will be responsible for air vehicle system configurations, coordination of test planning activities with flight test operations, and supporting IPTs.
Responsibilities Include:

Executing flight tests as a Test Conductor
-
Developing and maintaining flight test support materials and mission flight test profiles

Developing and publishing test schedules and test procedures for air vehicle testing
-
Coordinating with other organizations to ensure safe and effective execution of ground and flight test activities
-
Test article configuration management and coordinating the integration of test modifications with air vehicle engineering and manufacturing organizations
-
Participate in flight test readiness reviews, and pre and post-test briefings
-
Schedule and conduct ground and flight tests in accordance with established test plans and procedures
-
Participate in post-test data evaluation and problem identification and resolution

Prepare and publish test summaries and test reports

Train other Test Engineers as required

Travel to test or customer sites as required

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree (STEM) and 14 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in aerospace test activities OR a Master of Science degree and 12 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in aerospace test activities OR a Ph.D. and 9 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in aerospace test activities.

Must have demonstrated experience leading engineering teams in a test environment.

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
-
Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM discipline.

Four years of relevant experience in flight test operations.
-
Experience as a Global Hawk Test Conductor or Flight Test Engineer.

Salary Range: $129,500.00 - $194,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
