Job Description SummaryAs a technical product manager for PowerNow, you will drive the business and digital transformation of product by defining, designing, and implementing smarter and innovative digital solutions built on the latest capabilities of the ServiceNow platform. PowerNow is ServiceNow SaaS platform and one of top 20 critical applications widely used within GEV that sits on top of our organization existing data and systems, enabling employees to orchestrate and automate tasks across the enterprise using customizable low-code tools. This is a business critical, highly visible role that encompasses a variety of skills like digital transformation, business process redesign, process mining, data analytics, process automation, product management, project management and software engineering.
As part of the PowerNow DT team under GSC, EHS & Quality, you will be member of a dedicated core team that connects business and digital technology to deliver effective, resilient, reliable solutions and drive enterprise-critical outcomes. In this customer-centric role, you will work closely with businesses across GEV primarily Gas Power, Onshore Wind, Steam and all functions within Gas Power including Quality, Engineering, Sourcing, Site C&C, GSC, One Field Services, Parts Operations, Controls, Aero Alliance, Project Management and Commercial, in understanding their requirements, processes, data sources, workflows, and systems; and transition them to Customer Service Management (CSM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Integrated Risk Management (IRM) in PowerNow 2.0 via common enterprise data models and efficient workflows enhanced with ServiceNow Core services, App Engine, Automation Engine, Intelligence & Generative AI, Integration Services and Security and Compliance features. You will closely work with ServiceNow, and technology partners tasked with build, validate, and run of product releases. As part of this role, you will get trained and certified in ServiceNow.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

·        Take ownership of one or more processes within PowerNow; interface with business process owners and functional leaders to map out existing and future processes/sub-processes, data sources, data models, systems, and workflows into a common enterprise-wide data model within ServiceNow framework.

·        Define & Design product workflows for processes and associated solution archetypes, utilizing the latest capabilities available in the ServiceNow platform. This includes elements of data modelling, data integration, UX enhancement and design, configuration, customization, analytics, and automation as needed.

·        Define “how” part of business requirements along with functional team, create epics, themes, features and user stories through problem/opportunity decomposition and plan product backlog for design and build teams through sprints.

·        Participate in design, build, validate activities of solutions as part of product release execution.

·        Work with ServiceNow to deliver on the product roadmap aligning business need to new product capabilities released twice a year.

·        Engage daily with technology partner team responsible for design, build and run; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation and story deployment.

·        Collaborate with Gas Power, Onshore Wind and Steam business stakeholders and GEV users in User Acceptance Testing of these solutions.

·        Work closely with cross-functional DT teams to drive GEV DT strategic vision and roadmap of PowerNow platform.

·        Communicate and demonstrate product capabilities aligning to business needs, as part of platform upgrade and modernizations

·        Participate in Process and Product Improvement & Kaizen activities to drive continuous improvements.

·        Complete required ServiceNow training and certification as needed.

Mandatory Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

·        Demonstrated experience translating business needs to functional requirements aligning to product strategy and project management.

Desired Characteristics
·        Hands-on experience in ServiceNow CSM/SPM/ITSM/MCO/Now Assist/Now Platform

·        Strong understanding and interest in key business drivers, processes, and products used across businesses in GEV.

·        Knowledge of how the work your team performs integrates with other teams and contributes to larger business outcomes.

·        Ability and willingness to take the initiative in driving collaboration across business and digital teams, be comfortable with ambiguity; willing to work autonomously if needed and make decisions and recommend solutions within established guidelines.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective in using data and analytics to improve processes and make decisions.

·        Adept at navigating the organizational matrix; understanding people's roles, can foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources and rally teammates.

·        Demonstrates knowledge of the competitive environment and/or other solutions/products within DT that could solve the business needs.

·        Demonstrates knowledge of technologies in the market to help make, buy, vs build recommendations, scope MVPs, and to drive market timing and/or development/deployment timing decisions.

·        Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solve problems.

·        Articulate the value of what is most important to the business/customer to achieve outcomes.

·        Ability to navigate ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment.

·        Working knowledge of LEAN
