As part of a cross functional scrum team, design, develop & test new applications and maintain existing applications.

Understand the requirements / design changes properly and solicit guidance from business and technology collaborators across the enterprise and deliver app features / user stories and create a strategy plan to deliver the quality Product.

Develop code that complies with design specifications and meets security and UI best practices.

Work with Architects, Product Owners, Project Managers, QA and other developers to successfully implement business requirements while applying the latest available tools and technology.

Conduct design and code review sessions as appropriate to ensure the quality of work delivered by teammates is in accordance with development standards.

Build working relationships with global and virtual teams on software development.

Have a passion for delivering zero defect code and be responsible for ensuring the team's deliverables meet or exceed business expectations.

Identify opportunities for product innovation and strive for improvements to best practices, standards and processes.

Mentor junior developers to ensure deliverables are on time with good code quality.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
•5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 3
years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD,
MD) OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
•6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years
of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
•Experience in developing the enterprise grade software products at scale.
•5+ years of experience in software engineering with coding languages such as
Java and related frameworks like SpringBoot.
•Development experience in building and using Microservices, specifically with
HTTP, REST, JSON
•Experience with a Relational database and/or NoSQL database.
•Experience in UI/UX development using Angular or equivalent UI platform is a
plus.
•Proficient in GIT/Stash, Maven, Jenkins etc.
•Exposure to NGINX, Cloud deployments etc.
•Test driven development experience in the software industry is a major plus.
•Relevant experience with software design, architecture, agile methodologies
and iterative software development life cycle principles.
•Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
•Experience in consumer facing application development is plus.
