We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Technical Program Manager to support the launch and ongoing operations of our new facility in India. This role will serve as the primary engineering point of contact, ensuring smooth production by addressing technical questions, resolving issues, and implementing necessary product modifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and product design, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.  


*This position requires 50% travel to India, all applicants must be amenable to this requirement*

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Provide technical support to the India facility, addressing engineering questions and production challenges.  
  • Implement product modifications to enhance manufacturability and resolve sustainment issues.  
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth production ramp-up and ongoing operations.  
  • Identify and drive process improvements to optimize efficiency, cost, and quality.  
  • Serve as a key liaison between design, engineering, and production teams to ensure alignment on technical decisions.  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related engineering field.  
  • 5+ years of experience in sustainment, manufacturing, or product engineering.  
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in resolving production and design-related issues.  
  • Ability to work across time zones and communicate effectively with global teams.  
  • Experience with CAD software and engineering change management processes.  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience supporting international manufacturing facilities, particularly in India.  
  • Knowledge of aerospace or high-complexity mechanical assemblies.  
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for managing engineering changes.  
  • Hands-on experience with production processes such as machining, composites, or welding.  
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location. All offers are contingent on a cleared background and possible reference check. Military fellows and part-time employees are not eligible for benefits.
