Facility:Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment:Employee Health Support StaffSchedule:Full timeHours:36Job Details:The Staff Support Clinician will provide and coordinate emotional and psychological support for staff during particularly stressful events. Of particular importance is the need for the SSC to be available real-time and have flexibility to provide care and guidance to peer supporters and staff that work a variety of locations and shifts.
The Staff Support Clinician will report to the Senior Staff Support Clinician and support their role in collaborating with wellbeing team in the assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of staff support program. A focus on interdisciplinary relationships and mentoring is key for the staff support clinician position.
Must have excellent communication and mentorship skills. Must be extremely well organized and approachable to all staff. Maintains an awareness of events that impact staff’s mental health and resiliency. Routinely follows up with staff that have experienced critical events.

Experience

3- 5 years required

Certification/License

LSW, LISW or LPCC  required

LISW-S or LPCC-S preferred

Skills/Competencies/Responsibilities (required)

Clinical Practice

Documentation/Data Collection 

Takes personal responsibility to adhere to department/organization policies and procedures, compliance and regulatory agency requirements.

Supports a work environment that focuses on staff, customer, patient/families through safe practices and effective communication.

Schedule:

Swing shift, 12:00 pm - 12:30 am

Full time, 36 hours

3 (12) hour shifts

Education Requirements:

Masters: Counseling (Required), Masters: Social Work (Required)

Certification/License Requirements:

LISW - Licensed Independent Social Worker - Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board, LPCC - Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board, LSW Ohio - Ohio Licensed Social Worker - Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board
