Job Title: Staff Software Engineer

Business & Team: Institutional Banking & Management TechImpact &contribution: As part of our Digital Sales Crew, we are seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer who is passionate about building AI-powered, agent-driven systems that enhance customer and banker experiences. You will be part of a team delivering intelligent, context-aware digital solutions that drive productivity and improve end-to-end relationship management journeys.Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Principal Engineers, AI/Platform architects and SMEs to define and execute the technical vision for agent-enabled systems
- Design, build and operate scalable full-stack applications using Python backend and modern TypeScript frontend frameworks
- Develop AI/agent workflows including tool orchestration, context handling and system integration
- Build and integrate APIs with enterprise systems and external services
- Ensure high-quality engineering through unit, integration and end-to-end testing practices
- Contribute to and evolve development standards, best practices, and reusable components
- Lead CI/CD implementation and manage release pipelines for reliable deployments
- Implement observability, monitoring and alerting for production systems
- Troubleshoot performance, reliability and integration issues across distributed systems
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security, compliance and platform alignment
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack delivery ownership
- Strong Python backend development experience using FastAPI or similar frameworks
- Experience building AI- and agent-enabled systems, including tool usage, orchestration and API integration
- Proficiency in TypeScript-based frontend development using React or other modern frameworks
- Strong commitment to engineering quality, including unit, integration and end-to-end testing practices
- Experience contributing to development standards, reusable components and engineering best practices
- Experience designing and building agent workflows, including tool integration, context handling, workflow orchestration and system integration
- Strong understanding of LLM integration patterns, evaluation frameworks and AI observability tools
- Keen interest in emerging AI engineering tools
- Hands-on experience using coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cline or equivalent tools
