We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer Full Stack to join Procore's Media Team within the Product & Technology Division, which is core to how our users capture Media on job sites. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing features, working on both the Ruby on Rails backend and the Javascript frontend. A strong foundation in backend development is crucial, complemented by the ability to independently develop and implement frontend solutions.
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will collaborate closely with Product and UX teams to spearhead the development of new features and enhance existing ones. You will be a pivotal figure in shaping our team's technical culture, requiring a blend of robust technical expertise and exceptional communication skills.

What we’re looking for:
8+ years of experience in building sophisticated web applications.
In-depth understanding of backend development principles and best practices.
Extensive knowledge and practical experience with Ruby on Rails.
Deep understanding of various database systems and their applications.
Proven experience working with PostgreSQL.
Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript and TypeScript for frontend development.
Highly organized with a proven ability to work autonomously and self-directed.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
