Summary:
Apply your experience of building business applications to develop solutions for a variety of internal customers using Appian software as the platform. This role will require you to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and support enterprise application solutions. You will be responsible for delivering high quality technical expertise in resolving complex issues and developing solutions that meet customer requirements.  
Responsibilities: 

• Deliver technical leadership throughout the entire project lifecycle, including planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance/support.  

• Work closely with both technical and non-technical team members.  

• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our current development processes.  

• Create system technical documentation. 

• Assist in the creation of accurate estimates for proposed projects.  

• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.  

• Be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and priorities.  

• Work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting required deadlines.  

• Stay abreast of new technologies and their potential adoption within the organization.  

• Provide mentorship and guidance to other developers.  

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study preferred.  

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Experience working with the following technologies: 

  • Appian (required)

  • PostgreSQL/MariaDB 

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) 

  • HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript 

• Appian certification(s) (e.g., Appian Certified Lead Developer, Appian Certified Senior Developer) is a plus.

How you’ll contribute:

• Work directly with clients throughout the entire life-cycle of projects to help design and implement solutions with Appian software

• Establish and implement metrics to optimize team delivery and measure business agility in terms of predictability, reliability and adaptability

• Independently communicate with technical teams as needed during the design and implementation

• Supervise, mentor and develop junior developers on application and implementation methodology
