Position Summary

Designs, develops, and implements digital solutions and systems by applying advanced technical expertise to architect and code software applications, conduct system testing and debugging, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall technical direction and innovation of digital engineering projects.

** A brief Overview **

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Business Technical Lead for our Medicare Stars team. This critical role will drive the architecture, automation, and continuous advancement of enterprise-grade Medicare and Medicare Stars platforms at scale.

The Engineer will lead efforts to modernize Stars Campaigns' effectiveness, streamline data intake practices, and embed AI/Ops capabilities into core operational workflows. The key also is to understand different Stars domain and bringing that knowledge technical designs to enhance contract/domain level Star ratings. Partnering with Operations teams to realize synergies and achieve minimal downtime and efficient workflow configurations.

** What you will do **

Leverages expertise to design and implement efficient and scalable solutions that meet business requirements and quality standards. Contributes to solution design and architecture discussions, collaborating with architects and senior engineers. Provides input on technical feasibility, performance optimization, and scalability considerations to ensure that the overall solution meets the desired objectives. Participates in code reviews and ensures adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines. Communicates and coordinates with team members to ensure alignment, provide technical insights, and contribute to decision-making processes. Contributes to the adoption of best practices, new technologies, and tools to enhance productivity, efficiency, and code quality. Participates in knowledge sharing activities, such as code reviews, tech talks, and workshops, to foster a culture of learning and collaboration within the team. Works with other developers and team members to implement complex features, enhance existing functionality, and ensure the delivery of high-quality code. Provides guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them improve their technical skills and grow professionally.

Required Qualifications

  • You will need Minimum Requirements 7-10 years work experience in Software Engineering in .NET Framework, C#, SQL Server, GIT

  • Adept at problem solving and decision making skills

  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork

  • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills

  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills

  • Adept at business intelligence

Required Technical Skills:

  • .NET Framework, C#, SQL Server, GIT

  • Azure, GCP Cloud experience

  • XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript

  • Frameworks: Angular and Bootstrap

  • REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs

  • JIRA, Rally, and SQL

  • Deployment of enterprise web applications

  • End-to-end accountability for the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade web applications, APIs, and service-oriented components.

  • Development of data-driven reporting solutions supporting strategic business insights and decision-making.

  • Direct development teams, establish code standards, conduct design and code reviews, and perform technical feasibility assessments to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and business goals; and Strategic leadership across the SDLC, including business requirements analysis, architectural planning, effort estimation, and solution design.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare/Medicare/Stars experience and GCP/Azure experience. Gen AI preferred

Education

  • Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$118,450.00 - $284,280.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
