Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Staff Quality Engineer to design and deliver efficient technical solutions in furtherance of our quality assurance standards for multiple software applications. Work in a fluid environment, defining and owning engineering priorities that adapt to our larger goals, communicating effectively with business partners. Responsible for key strategic QA initiatives and driving adoption of test automation and other QA engineering technologies. Drive, support, manage and mentor QA managers, analysts, and automation engineers to ensure the highest quality application deliveries to production. QA ownership of initiatives in the Omni IO team. Drive and support enterprise end-to-end testing as required. Assure quality, time to market, and cost objectives are consistently achieved. Leverage test automation, model-based testing, and other QA engineering approaches to ensure rapid time to market and efficient QA delivery. Collaborate with other delivery stakeholders across the application portfolio. Responsible for analysis and reporting of QA performance measurements including defect density, defect leakage, QA efficiency, and various QA team performance factors. Construct quality dashboards and management reports. Implement measures and metrics to demonstrate business value for new Quality initiatives. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality software product platform. Collaborate with peer organizations, quality assurance, and end users to produce cutting-edge software solutions. Develop test strategies/plans for large, complex manual test efforts, and gain approval from project stakeholders. Test case development and execution activities with accountability for the quality outcomes for assigned projects. Confirm that test approach, test data, and execution results meet the project objectives. Apply understanding of complex and distributed system/application concepts to ensure QA delivery of enterprise initiatives involving multiple disparate systems. Drive End to End test activities and artifacts as applicable for the projects in test. Apply expertise and skills in driving team-wide adoption of new QA technology and trends including QA test automation, Agile Methodologies, evaluation of various automation testing tools and automation frameworks, creating comprehensive test strategies and test plans, API testing, and Cloud Testing. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following:
• Leading software testing for quality assurance;
• Developing test strategy plans, including for nonfunctional testing and performance testing;
• Performing automated API testing;
• Leading end-to-end UI automation;
• Performing data analyses and test data setup;
• Managing and configuring test environments;
• Cloud technologies: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
• Improving testing efficiency plans and analyzing data validity, bug identification, and resource identification; and
• Developing processes for defect tracking and troubleshooting to support SCRUM teams.
Pay Range: $118450.00/year to $236900.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
