Our Organization:
As the Senior Product Owner supporting StoreWeb Modernization and adjacent engineering teams, you will play a mission‑critical role defining product vision, sequencing modernization work, and ensuring engineering teams deliver high‑value, high‑quality increments aligned to enterprise modernization strategy. You will partner directly with Senior Engineers, Staff Engineers, Scrum Masters, DevOps, Data Migration, Observability, Integration, and QA teams to drive clarity, alignment, and predictable delivery across deeply technical modernization initiatives.
What you will do
- Define product vision, roadmap, and value‑driven prioritization for modernization capabilities and engineering platforms.
- Partner with engineering leads across Java Liberty, .NET Azure, Data Migration, Integration, Observability, DevOps, and QA to translate complex technical work into clear, deliverable increments.
- Own and refine backlogs across multiple squads, ensuring clarity of acceptance criteria, dependency visibility, and sequencing.
- Facilitate cross‑team alignment for Strangler‑Fig migrations, API modernization, release safety, and platform‑level dependencies.
- Drive outcome‑based delivery using measurable KPIs such as reliability improvements, defect escape reductions, SLO attainment, and modernization throughput.
- Collaborate with business partners, architecture, and engineering leadership to ensure prioritization aligns with enterprise objectives.
- Lead readiness for releases—ensuring functional validation, contract‑testing alignment, observability onboarding, and change‑management preparedness.
- Communicate product plans, risks, and progress through crisp, executive‑ready communication.
- Champion customer‑centricity, engineering empathy, and delivery excellence across all modernization squads.
Minimum Qualifications
- 9+ years product ownership or product management experience supporting engineering‑heavy teams.
- Experience shaping roadmaps for modernization, cloud migration, or distributed‑systems engineering programs.
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts (CI/CD, IaC, APIs, observability, migrations) into clear product requirements.
- Demonstrated success driving predictable delivery across multi‑team agile organizations.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder‑management skills across technical and business audiences.
- Strong experience in Jira Align and Jira Cloud Or Confluence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail, store systems, platform engineering, or mission‑critical operational domains.
- Familiarity with APIM, OpenTelemetry, Azure DevOps, cloud modernization, and reliability engineering.
- Hands‑on experience with data‑driven prioritization, KPI frameworks, and value‑based roadmap planning.
- Certification in Product Ownership or Product Management (CSPO, PSPO, APM, POPM etc.).
