We are hiring a Staff AI Technical Product Marketing Manager to help craft and strengthen MongoDB’s AI positioning and messaging. This role’s focus spans developers and technical decision makers. This person will need both hands-on technical depth (e.g., experience building as a PM or engineer, developing meaningful side projects, or working in technical sales or marketing) and product marketing expertise to help drive strategic go-to-market activities. This person will need to have the ability to stay on top of emerging AI technologies, quickly perform research, and form points of view on MongoDB’s position in the market. This person evokes confidence in both one-to-one and one-to-many (e.g., webinars and events) engagements, whether internal to MongoDB or externally through MongoDB marketing activities.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving further education and increasing mindshare for MongoDB among developers building today’s most cutting-edge applications. You’ll be a member of a high-performing, globally distributed team dedicated to giving developers a best-in-class experience. You’ll work closely with an exceptional group of cross-functional peers across the rest of Marketing, Developer Relations, Product Management, Engineering, Partners, and more.
This role can be in-office or hybrid in one of our US offices, or based remotely in the US.

- Empower our Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams with concise, creative, and technically rich positioning and messaging that builds a preference for MongoDB among developers
- Build compelling technical content (e.g., blog articles, architectural diagrams, tutorials, demos) that educates developers on how and why MongoDB is the best data platform for their AI stack
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert who drives awareness and adoption of MongoDB’s AI search and retrieval capabilities
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in product marketing, product management, developer relations, or solutions engineering, particularly with B2B SaaS, enterprise-scale cloud services, and/or developer-facing products. Other roles and experiences related to developer marketing may also be considered

- Experience presenting to and educating non-technical and technical audiences on complex topics related to databases, search, and AI applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to lead with a point of view and create high-quality technical content under tight deadlines
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced collaborative environments, effectively engaging with cross-functional teams and external partners, while also being able to move the ball forward independently
- A low ego-to-talent ratio and collaborative spirit
- Within the first three months, you will have established working relationships with key stakeholders across Marketing and Product. You have started building technical resources that strengthen MongoDB’s AI story
- Within the first six months, you will be familiar with the existing resources (technical and non-technical) used to promote MongoDB’s AI search and retrieval capabilities—text search, vector search, embedding models and rerankers, AI framework integrations, and the MongoDB MCP Server. You will have established strong points of view on MongoDB’s place in the AI landscape, as well as an agenda for further strengthening MongoDB’s AI story
