Required Experience

• 8+ years of product design experience, with strong B2B SaaS background.
• Demonstrated experience driving measurable growth impact (activation, conversion, retention, or expansion).
• Experience designing PLG or self-serve SaaS products.
• Experience working within established design systems.
• Strong systems thinking across multi-tenant and role-based platforms.
• Experience collaborating on A/B testing or experimentation initiatives.
• Portfolio showing both product craft and measurable business impact.

You Must Be Able To

• Clearly articulate the metrics your design work improved.
• Show examples of reducing friction in complex SaaS workflows.
• Demonstrate U.S. market awareness in product decisions.
• Explain how you evolve patterns within a structured system.
• Operate independently in a cross-continental environment.

Growth & Activation

• Improve time-to-first-value for U.S.-based Admins.
• Reduce onboarding friction across complex compliance workflows.
• Increase feature adoption and cross-product expansion.
• Design upgrade and monetization surfaces that align with U.S. SaaS buyer expectations.

Experimentation & Optimization

• Partner with Product and Data to define UX hypotheses tied to business KPIs.
• Design experiments that impact activation, engagement, and expansion.
• Iterate rapidly based on measurable outcomes.
• Balance experimentation velocity with platform consistency.

Multi-Product SaaS Experience

• Design scalable, role-based experiences across Admin and Learner journeys.
• Improve cross-product discoverability within U.S. customer accounts.
• Reduce friction in complex workflows such as assignments, automation, reporting, and recertification.

Design System Stewardship

• Operate within and contribute to our established design system.
• Identify patterns that need refinement as the platform scales.
• Propose thoughtful improvements that enhance usability without introducing inconsistency.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure implementation fidelity.

U.S. Market & International Collaboration Expectations

Although EU-based, you will design primarily for U.S. customers. You must demonstrate:

U.S. Market Fluency

• Familiarity with U.S. B2B SaaS buyer behavior and self-service onboarding patterns.
• Understanding of U.S. workplace training expectations and compliance contexts.
• Sensitivity to tone, language, and UX norms that resonate with U.S. admins and frontline workers.
• Comfort designing within state-specific compliance environments and U.S.-centric reporting expectations.

Cross-Continental Product Execution

• Proven success working in distributed teams with U.S.-based executives.
• Strong written communication skills for async collaboration.
• Comfort participating in U.S.-time-zone roadmap planning.
• High autonomy and ownership mindset.
