Responsibilities

What you'll do...

  • Design, bring-up, characterize and troubleshoot traction inverters.
  • Design and industrialize high voltage PCBA and inverter assemblies including DFT, DFM, etc.
  • Perform worst case analysis, functional safety analysis, thermal analysis, and control analysis, etc.
  • Perform failure analysis of PCBA and inverter assemblies.
  • Support design validation and end-of-line tests specifications.
  • Collaborate with mechanical design, software, system, project management, supply chain functions throughout the organization. 
Qualifications

You'll have...

  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering  or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in power electronics product development
  • Experience of PCB schematic capture and circuit simulation & analysis tools, e.g. Altium Designer, PSPICE.
  • Experience of PCB layout for best signal integrity and manufacturability and low cost.
  • Familiar with IGBT, MOSFET etc. devices and power modules, and their gate drivers.
  • Familiar with three-phase traction inverter

Even better, you may have...

  • Masters or PhD Degree in electrical Engineering
  • Experience with EMI troubleshooting
  • Familiar with motor control
  • Experience with safety-critical automotive hardware development
  • Familiar with industry standards and regulatory requirements for power electronics products.

This position is a leadership level 6 and ranges from $150,200-$283,500.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
