Roles & Responsibilities :-
As an SAP Platform DevOps Lead, you will be an integral member of our Engineering practice and delivering new capabilities to the one of the most critical application in Finance technology with SAP Core Banking at the center. This role focus is on operational excellence through the design, build, run, and evolution of foundational tools, infrastructure and automation working with both bank and partner teams. This role will influence engineering practices across teams, participate in governance forums, and ensure alignment with the bank’s engineering and operational standards.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management for SAP deployments and automation.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable SAP deployments on AWS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly and proactively.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with SAP Basis team to ensure seamless integration between SAP and the cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and procedures.
- Participate in security assessments and compliance audits related to the SAP environment on AWS.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve our infrastructure.
- Exhibit a proactive approach, constantly seeking innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Mentor and lead junior engineers, contributing effectively both as an individual and as a team member.
- Experience with SAP environments and tools is desirable.

Essential Skills:-
You will have extensive experience in the following:
- 12-16 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on cloud technologies.
- Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Cloudformation, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, particularly Terraform, Ansible and Cloud Formation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Cloud, Ansible Tower or Ansible Automation Platform, TeamCity, Octopus and Artifactory.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Work experience and knowledge of RHEL or SUSE Linux administration would be an added advantage.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in Monitoring tools such as Observe, Prometheus, Grafana, and AppDynamics
- Understanding of DevSecOps/SRE Best Practices.
- Advanced knowledge in Linux Administration (RHEL) and be able to troubleshoot complex issues
- Have proven experience in working with engineering and operational teams.
- Have proven experience in operational engagements required to bring a product to life (e.g. Risk, Security, Incident, Change, Problem, Monitoring, Supplier Governance, Defect Review, Scalability, Automation)
- Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Have a problem-solving mindset with a focus on automation and continuous process improvement
- Good understanding and experience on ITIL Process (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and practices.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or other relevant AWS certifications is mandatory.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field
