DUTIES: Define and lead corporate software strategy for new technology highly complex features or significant enhancements for current new or major programs. Provide technical leadership to execution teams for development and integration. Lead comprehensive design analysis of design solutions. Lead integration and verification testing of an integrated software build. Stay abreast of new technology and competitive products and define GM direction. Provide, communicate, and support common best practices among software community. Specializes in work on cellular communication and defines and develops software and systems using it. 100% telecommuting available.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study. Five (5) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Staff Software Engineer or related occupation. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study. Two (2) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Staff Software Engineer or related occupation. Two (2) years of experience in the following: Software development experience with system level software; C and C++; Network Stacks; TCP/IP networking protocols; Network stack works including drivers through applications; Application-level protocols that are built on top of the whole network stack; Cellular baseband; Embedded operating systems and software; Cellular application-level control systems; and Linux IOS.
Compensation:
• The expected base compensation for this role is $260000 to $302400 Annually.
• Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
• Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
