What you'll do:

As a Staff IT Analyst for Bank Operations, you will identify constraints and opportunities that may influence business or technology strategy, troubleshoot issues with vendors and business partners, and monitor critical file movement jobs that support monetary and system processing. You’ll assess current processes and metrics that support the operational effectiveness of WAB’s core branch applications focused on branch operations. In addition, you will facilitate discussions with IT, Product, Vendor and Business subject matter experts to define challenges, gather insights, and validate findings so the right issues are addressed.
  • Lead projects within an assigned domain with minimal supervision by defining the scope of analysis, establishing timelines, and delivering work on schedule. Communicate effectively with managers and colleagues, coordinate with subject matter experts to gather requirements and review deliverables, provide project status updates, and identify or resolve technical issues.
  • Track and maintain KRIs, KPIs, and other operational metrics while developing critical documentation, creating project artifacts, and producing accurate, high-quality deliverables.
  • Apply risk management experience gained in a large financial institution operating under heightened standards, particularly in risk, compliance, or corporate governance.

What you'll need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • Entry-level to intermediate knowledge of financial services or banking is preferred.
  • Entry-level to intermediate knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in process and data analysis within a specific domain or functional area, with strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, diagramming tools such as Lucid or Visio, and other technical tools relevant to the domain.
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Occasional travel is required.

Benefits you’ll love:
We offer all the important things you'd want — like competitive salaries, an ownership stake in the company, medical and dental insurance, time off, a great 401k matching program, tuition assistance program, an employee volunteer program, and a wellness program. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to bolster your business knowledge, learning the ins and outs of how successful companies operate and manage their finances, giving you invaluable hands-on experience to help grow your career!
