As part of the SSDQRA Test Development organization, you will drive the development of next-generation AI-Agent-powered test development and qualification platforms that transform how SSD validation, reliability testing, and qualification workflows are designed, executed, analyzed, and optimized.
In this role, you will build intelligent AI agents capable of autonomously generating test content, optimizing test coverage, orchestrating qualification execution, analyzing failures, identifying reliability risks, and accelerating engineering decision-making. The focus is on creating an ecosystem of collaborating engineering agents that improve test effectiveness, reduce qualification cycle time, increase automation, and enhance product quality across SSD programs.
You will partner with Test Development, Qualification Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Product Engineering, System Engineering, Data Science, and IT teams to develop scalable agentic solutions that enable autonomous and data-driven engineering operations.
Key Responsibilities
Next-Generation AI Agent-Based Test Development
  • Develop AI-powered agents and copilots to automate SSD test development, validation, and qualification activities.
  • Build solutions for automated test code generation, test case recommendations, coverage analysis, and requirement-to-test traceability.
  • Design agent-based workflows for qualification planning, test readiness assessment, execution coordination, validation tracking, and reporting.
  • Develop AI-driven failure analysis tools that analyze logs, identify failure patterns, recommend root causes, and suggest corrective actions.
  • Apply AI/ML techniques to optimize test coverage, eliminate redundant tests, predict reliability risks, and improve defect detection.
  • Build RAG and GenAI-based engineering copilots that provide instant access to specifications, test methodologies, reliability standards, lessons learned, and technical documentation.
  • Develop scalable analytics platforms to process qualification, reliability, telemetry, and test execution data and generate actionable insights.
  • Create reusable AI agent frameworks, orchestration platforms, and workflow automation solutions for engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with SSDQRA engineers, software developers, and data scientists to drive AI-first qualification and validation solutions.
  • Establish AI governance, evaluation, benchmarking, and deployment best practices.

Required Skills
  • 5+ years software engineering experience
  • 2+ years GenAI/LLM development
  • Built end-to-end agentic workflows
  • Experience with multi-agent systems
  • Strong Python and cloud skills
  • Familiar with RAG, MCP, tool calling, and AI governance
  • Experience deploying enterprise-scale AI solutions
  • Experience with software development, test automation, analytics, and cloud-based AI platforms.
  • Knowledge of SSD, storage, qualification, reliability, or validation engineering is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and software architecture skills.
