Summary:

In this role you will serve as a resource for connecting contracts with internal and external stakeholders during the implementation process. You will execute implementation projects received from the sales team for new and existing providers ensuring proper connection to contracts that provide savings and generate revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the validation of implementation requests received from the implementation directors, distributors and suppliers ensuring that facilities, contracts, and tiers are applicable and accurate.

  • Assist and manage cross reference opportunities from competitive private label brands and unmatched spend to Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) portfolios, Nova+, and Impact Standardization contracts.

  • Track and report out to implementation team on status of tasks and contract requests.

  • Serve as first-line resource related to contract connections, providing guidance on what documents, data, and site involvement will be required.

  • Identify and develop process improvements to optimize business results and/or contract penetration.

  • Participate in provider discussions with implementation and spend management teams to maximize strategy.

  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, distributors, internal teams and providers.

  • Provide regular communication to providers and spend management team related to project pipeline, implementation progress to completion, potential barriers and savings captured.

  • Pre-populate and submit contract connection requests, and follow up with suppliers, distributors, and providers to ensure pricing is accurate and resolve denials as needed.

  • Prioritize body of work (i.e., volume and deadlines) based on savings, and/or revenue potential, while maintaining project trackers to document all activities for providers, implementation team, and senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 2 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience in healthcare preferred (client/account management or supply chain).

  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with spreadsheets preferred.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to react positively to shifting priorities for multiple projects simultaneously and to perform under pressure with tight deadlines. 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience in presenting, training, and/or professional development a plus.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $51,900.00 to $82,900.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
