The Staff Accountant plays a key role within Malin’s Finance Department by supporting day‑to‑day accounting activities, month‑end close processes, The position provides hands‑on experience with general ledger maintenance, inventory accounting, and operational support. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare routine journal entries and perform account reconciliations
- Support the accounting team in month end close process and reporting
- Assist with daily inventory reconciliation and maintenance in alignment with sales operations.
- Support sales operations through processing Customer Sales Invoices, Vendor Credits and Buy-Outs.
- Assist in gathering support and documentation for internal and external audits
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and standardization efforts across the Finance Department
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Ad hoc responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- College degree in Accounting or Business required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, comfort working with large data sets; experience with ERP/accounting systems is a plus
