indiGO Auto Group is seeking a full-time Assistant Controller to join our growing team based in Southern California This is a great opportunity to work for an exciting company in a fast-paced environment, with an abundance of growth opportunities for our most talented team members.

Here is what an ordinary day of work may look like:
- Complete special accounting projects and ad-hoc assignments as directed by management
- Process daily bank flooring transactions and vehicle payoffs for both new and used inventory, as needed
- Perform weekly general ledger reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly warranty remittances and warranty cancellations
- Post sales related factory on a weekly basis to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Cross-train with other accounting and office staff to provide coverage during month-end close, vacations, or operational needs
- Contribute to the overall success of the dealership group by working with all departments collaboratively and professionally with a positive attitude.
- Maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and generally accepted accounting processes and to safeguard the dealership’s assets.
- Partner with Controller and Office Manager to issue timely, complete, and accurate financial statements and reports.
This opportunity is for you if you have:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the automotive industry
- Tekion and/or CDK, DMS, and strong Microsoft Excel skills are required
- High degree of professionalism
- Strong sense of pride in work product and a demonstrated willingness to go the extra mile
- Strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills, team player
- Ability to communicate with various levels of management
- Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check
Pay range for this role is: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
