We’re hiring a Full-Time Staff Accountant to help scale our day-to-day accounting operations as Tava grows. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career or looking to grow into broader ownership who enjoys clean reconciliations, thrives in a startup environment, and wants broad exposure across core accounting processes.

You’ll own essential daily accounting activities while gaining increasing exposure to month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support. You’ll partner closely with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Customer Success (CS) and serve as a key point of contact for finance-related questions across the company. This is a high-impact opportunity for an analytical, process-minded individual who’s eager to grow their skill set while contributing to a mission that truly matters.

• Manage daily accounting activities, including transaction coding, reconciliations, and customer payment posting

• Prepare reports to support RCM reconciliation and participate in the month-end close

• Assist with AR and AP functions, including billing, vendor management, and coordination with Customer Success

• Serve as a point of contact for internal finance questions and collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Assist with audit requests, annual reporting, and special accounting projects as needed

• 1–2 years of accounting experience (startup experience a strong plus)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; MAcc preferred but not required

• Brings a puzzle-solver mindset to repetitive or detail-heavy tasks, with curiosity and creativity to spot patterns and find solutions

• Familiarity with healthcare, benefits, AI or accounting tech is a plus

• Highly detail-oriented with strong spreadsheet skills (Excel and Google Sheets)

• Able to manage multiple recurring deadlines with consistency and accuracy

• Comfortable navigating multiple systems and large datasets
