NinjaHoldings is seeking a self-motivated, intellectually curious Staff Accountant who is interested in the opportunity to grow and learn as part of a dynamic team at the heart of NinjaHoldings’ financial reporting function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries, financial statement analysis, and account reconciliations
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions
- Reconcile high-volume cash transactions and research reconciling items in loan management system
- Assist in the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures
- Collaborate on the development of accounting for new products
- Track real-time performance of the loan portfolio using SQL-based data visualization tools
- Facilitate state and local tax return preparation and filing efforts
- Help Accounting Managers and other team members on strategic projects
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in public accounting or relevant industry experience
- Certification or progress towards CPA
- Strong quantitative analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, follow through to completion, and present conclusions of analysis in an organized and thoughtful manner
