Responsibilities
- Prepare and book journal entries and assist with the build out of the internal financial framework
- Ensure all incoming invoices are received and processed and communicate with internal stakeholders on receiving appropriate approvals
- Prepare month-end management accounts, including monthly reconciliations for internal records, banks, and credit card systems
- Support the team in closing month-end financials statements, including reviewing intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Liaise with fund administrators to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information and accounting records
- Assist in review of associated fund related NAV Packages and Investor Statements
- Review and approve employee expenses in line with company policy
- Prepare out-going invoices in line with contractual service level agreements
- Assist with preparation of the company’s financial statements including necessary documentation and responses
- Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
- Organize recurring office events and annual office parties in line with office budget
- Communicate with office vendors and oversee general office maintenance
- Stock office supplies in line with office budget and employee requests
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field
- Knowledge of accounting standards (i.e., IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP) and principles
- 2+ years workplace experience in a finance team, preferably as a management accountant
- Understanding of treasury management and multi-currency reporting
- Proficient with enterprise-level accounting software (Workday, Quickbooks preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy for financial reporting
- Excellent excel skills
