Job Duties:
- Support the Assistant Controller and Accounting Manager in preparing journal entries and completion of monthly financial reporting package.
- Assist Assistant Controller in budget-to-actuals variance analysis.
- Review and process intercompany transactions with other TAT entities; Confirm and settle balances on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and post Journal Entries.
- Excel data analysis - Intermediate level preferred - V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
- Perform monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Support the Accounts Payable Manager in processing vendor invoices.
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording AP and bank data.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures to standardize financial processes.
- Collaborate on Continuous Improvement goals for Finance department, including Standard Operating Procedures, financial metrics and analysis.
- Provide support for financial audits and SOX compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited school.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience with GAAP/IFRS.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and experience working with cross functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Engaged team player.
