Staff Accountant – On-Site | Knoxville, TN
About Us:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our corporate headquarters in Knoxville, TN. This is an on-site role with opportunities to grow and take on meaningful accounting responsibilities across multiple companies.
Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant will manage daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks, including general ledger and financial reporting, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and special projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the financial close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Perform intercompany transactions and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain the fixed asset ledger, depreciation schedules, and reconciliations
- Process accounts payable invoices and weekly check runs accurately and on time
- Manage 1099 vendor information and year-end reporting
- Assist with corporate credit card reconciliation and business license tracking
- Ensure all day-to-day accounting activities are performed efficiently and accurately
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- Minimum of 1+ year of accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
