Staff Accountant perform the following functions: 
•    Maintaining, preparing and resolving general ledger accounts reconciliations and discrepancies. 
•    Preparing and posting journal entries to general ledgers. 
•    Assist with trends, budgeting and forecasting processes. 
•    Prepare and analyze financial reporting. 
•    Assist branch and department staff with any accounting-related issues. 
•    Assist management and staff with projects as needed.
•    Recommend new or innovative ideas to improve overall work environment. 
•    Exhibit a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism always. 
•    Exude a positive and professional attitude with members and partners consistently. 
•    Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications include: 
•    Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required. 
•    3+ years of accounting experience. 
•    Strong documentation, exceptional analytical and communication skills. 
•    Solid Understanding of accounting principal. Working Knowledge of GAAP.
•    Proficiency with DNA, Microsoft EprincipleWord; familiarity with MIDFLORIDA Resource Center.  
•    Good problem- solving and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with deadlines. 
•    Proficient in financial software.

Skills Required
