About Site
The ~70,000‑square‑foot Manassas facility operates within Catalent’s Consumer Health portfolio, supporting programs from early development through commercial manufacturing and packaging. It is designed for dietary supplement and food‑safety cGMP operations, making it distinct from Catalent’s traditional pharmaceutical and biologics manufacturing sites.
Position Summary
We have an opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will manage accounts payable and receivable files, review invoices for accurate allocation, and ensure timely processing of payments. You will also handle customer invoicing, vendor inquiries, and monthly reconciliations. This position is key to maintaining smooth financial operations and supporting business processes.

The Role
Maintain all accounts payable and accounts receivable files, both digital and paper.
Review invoices to ensure expenses are allocated to the correct general ledger account and obtain approval before entry into the accounting system.
Use accounts payable aging report to determine vendor payment schedules.
Process payments, match invoices to checks, obtain signatures, and distribute checks accordingly.
Collaborate with Shared Service and stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction processes.
Use accounts receivable aging report to monitor late customer payments.
Issue invoices for shipments and prepayments, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile monthly vendor statements, researching and correcting discrepancies.
Prepare weekly sales shipment summary.
Perform bank reconciliation at month-end.
Complete other duties as assigned.
The Candidate
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma, required.
Minimum one year of relevant accounting experience.
Preferred Skills & Background
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Excel and Word.
