What you’ll own
Maintain accurate financial records, and regulatory requirements, including preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.
Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely reporting, proper cutoffs, and resolution of discrepancies through variance analysis.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and management summaries while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with accounting policies.
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, supporting system enhancements, and contributing to standardization efforts.
Assist with regulatory filings and audit activities by preparing documentation, supporting internal and external audits, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and data security policies.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Accountancy with at least 2+ years of relevant experience in reconciliation, audit, or financial reporting.
Ability and willingness to work a 4:00 AM to 1:00 PM Philippine Time shift
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data, investigate discrepancies, and identify practical solutions that improve outcomes.
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of integrity and confidentiality.
It’s a bonus if you have
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification, demonstrating advanced knowledge and professional credibility in accounting.
Experience with Oracle Financials or similar ERP systems, along with a background in credit card processing, banking, or financial services.
Background in financial services, banking, payment processing, public accounting, or experience with settlements, invoicing, collections, accounts payable, or cash reconciliation processes.
Big 4 or public accounting audit experience, providing strong exposure to audit practices, compliance, and financial controls.
