POSITION SUMMARY
Under minimal direction, performs administrative and complex accounting tasks related to product costing, service accounting, financial reporting and financial analysis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. (Essential)
- Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative and practical ways by using skills and full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures. (Essential)
- Prepares journal entries for monthly general ledger close, including reconciliation and review of various income statement and balance sheet accounts. (Essential)
- Prepares monthly executive PowerPoint presentations including graphs, supporting details and comments. (Essential)
- Compile and analyze data to research trends, assist with forecasting and support organizational decision making. (Essential)
- Through data analysis identify areas of focus for management to meet company goals. (Essential)
- Prepares and compiles monthly financial statements and related schedules in a timely manner. (Essential)
- Act as point of contact for parent company to respond to inquiries including performing the necessary research and documentation as required. (Essential)
- Performs annual and revised budgeting cycle activities including departmental budgeting. (Essential)
- Prepares monthly Ebara Corporation report as well as other reporting and informational requests from EC. (Essential)
- Maintains current and accurate standard costs and updates costs for all products on an on-going basis including determining material overhead and labor rates. (Essential)
- Backfill for ERP conversion Accounting department resource requirements. (Essential)
- Prepares quarterly inventory reserves. (Essential)
- Prepares and assists in preparing documentation for annual financial audit and quarterly reviews. (Essential)
- Support and backup accounting group, including willingness to perform other accounting staff functions including, but not limited to accounts receivable processing, accounts payable processing and filing. (Essential)
- Complies with EBARA safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training. (Essential)
- Maintains clean and safe working environment compliant with Ebara safety policies. (Essential)
- Performs other duties as assigned. (Non-Essential)
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education
- Bachelor of Science in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Two (2) to five (5) years financial accounting experience, including internal financial statement preparation and daily general ledger accounting, preferably in a multi-company environment.
- Detailed knowledge of cost accounting concepts and theories, and service accounting.
- Working knowledge of general policies and procedures.
- Strong Customer Relations skills.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customer.
- Demonstrated teamwork and Organizational skills.
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
Skills Required
- Bachelor of Science in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience

- Experience supporting ERP conversion or working within ERP accounting processes
