The Opportunity:
This is a 6-12 month contract role based in our Conshohocken, PA headquarters.
The Revenue Staff Accountant will be responsible for all areas of accounts receivable management including contracting, billing, collections, and accounts receivable reporting.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Review client billing calculations for accuracy
- Research and analyze legal contracts to determine relevant economic information to calculate and determine revenue and/or commissions due
- Manages and monitors daily cash management transactions, reports cash operation activities, and applies cash policies and procedures timely
- Provides thoughtful responses to client questions on invoices
- Prepare month-end close journal entries
- Responsible for ensuring all documentation exists and is maintained for internal control purposes
- Provide materials to external auditors for annual audit of corporate entities and subsidiaries
- Assist in reporting and analytics focused on revenue as needed
- Special projects as assigned
Your background will include:
- BS Degree in Accounting required.
- 2-4 years accounting experience. SEC/public company reporting experience preferred.
- Experience in multi-currency accounting a plus.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly communicate.
- Aptitude for accounting and reporting systems required. Experience with Workday Financials a plus.
- Familiarity with consolidated financial statements.
- Excellent general accounting skills required and knowledge of US GAAP.
- Experience with SOX 404 compliance efforts.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and take initiative in resolving problems and making recommendations.
- Must be highly disciplined, results-oriented and self-motivated.
- Strong organization skills. Ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines.
- Ability to analyze financial information and generate error free financial reports.
