Job Overview
Perform monitoring, study start-up and site management work to ensure that sites are conducting the study(ies) and reporting study data as required by the study protocol, applicable regulations and guidelines, and sponsor requirements.
Responsibilities
- Performing site selection, initiation, monitoring and close-out visits, plus maintaining appropriate documentation
- Responsible for Study Start-Up activities.
- Supporting the development of a subject recruitment plan
- Establishing regular lines of communication plus administering protocol and related study training to assigned sites
- Evaluating the quality and integrity of site practices – escalating quality issues as appropriate
- Managing progress by tracking regulatory submissions, recruitment, case report form (CRF) completion, and data query resolution
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in scientific discipline or health care.
- Experience of 1 year in on-site monitoring clinical trials.
- Good knowledge of, and skill in applying, applicable clinical research regulatory requirements (i.e., Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines).
- Computer skills including proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and use of a laptop computer and iPhone and iPad (where applicable).
- Written and verbal communication skills including good command of Romanian and English language.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients.
