Job Description

Job Purpose: This position plays a critical role in developing, manufacturing, and deploying products and services that not only meet but exceed our customer expectations. It focuses on delivering a best-in-class quality experience to our customers by conducting qualification of Solid State Drives (SSDs), implementing quality metrics, and utilizing data-driven methodologies to predict or prevent defects, ensuring products meet quality and reliability performance within product life cycle milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create the infrastructure to execute the qualification of Solid State Drives (SSDs).
  • Design, plan, and execute the qualification of SSDs and all their components, following the industry's best-known practices.
  • Develop a physical understanding model prediction and enhancing the quality and reliability of advanced semiconductor products.
  • Develop cost-effective production monitoring and screening schemes to ensure processes are stable, and products meet committed quality and reliability performance​

Qualifications

Required:

  • The candidate must have a BS or MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 6+ months of experience in programming (C, C++ or Python)
  • 5+ years of job experience in job related field
  • Must be able to work onsite at Sacramento location.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Good time management
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivator

Preferred: 5+ years of experience in the following areas:

  • Probability and statistics
  • Statistics Software JMP Minitab or similar
  • Computer programming for data acquisition reduction and analysis
  • Hands on experimental design execution analysis interpretation and synthesis
  • Track record of effectively working with interdisciplinary teams
  • Transistor Device Physics and Fabrication Process
  • Storage Architecture or Firmware experience on NAND memory products

Working Conditions: This position is a full-time position, and is not eligible for remote work.

Additional Information

This position is also eligible to participate in Solidigm's restricted stock unit (RSU), restricted cash unit (RCU), and cash bonus programs. In addition, Solidigm offers a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, supplemental life and AD&D insurance; short- and long-term disability; healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts, and a company match on eligible 401(k) plan contributions.

The compensation range for this role is $121,280 - $194,100. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
