The SRHR Technical Coordinator will strengthen comprehensive FP,MR, PAC, and Gender responsive (CMR and others) and other SRHR services in humanitarian setting through technical capacity-building initiatives for service providers in collaboration with the Ipas team and its implementing partner. S/he will provide technical guidance to Ipas’s implementing partner BAPSA's clinical team and SBCC team. S/he will ensure the quality implementation by mentoring and monitoring support to improve the service by using structured project/service monitoring tools. S/he will support the Health System (HS) team in maintaining quality of care, utilization of equipment and commodities as per standard operation procedure including proper record-keeping and reporting systems.Additionally,the Coordinator will enhance SRHR technical support in a comprehensive approach, linking facility-level interventions with community-level efforts to improve service coverage. S/he will maintain effective inter- and intra-team liaison at the local level as needed. Coordination with government and non-governmental stakeholders will also be a priority to increase the visibility of the organization's SRHR initiatives.S/he will provide technical inputs for report preparation in consultation with the Project Manager and the local and country office HS team.

Key Responsibilities

A) Capacity Building of service providers to ensure quality FP, MR, PAC and Gender responsive services in Humanitarian setting:
• Capacity building through training, onsite support and mentoring of Ipas’s seconded service providers at the facility level. 
• Prepare training plan in collaboration with Ipas’s Implementing partner- BAPSA as per project activity plan for all type of clinical trainings. 
• Supervise and monitoring the quality of training conducted by the partner organization-BAPSA.
• Actively engage for the development of training needs, communication with the partner NGO’s for nominating trainee, organizing and support trainers and facilitators in training conduction, provide support and guidance to trainers and clinical mentors in trainee follow-up as per protocol.
• Provide technical support to the SBCC team in facilitating technical sessions on the new SRHR component to enhance their knowledge and skills aligned with their scope of work.Facilitate training as and when required as per project demand.
B) Mentoring, Monitoring support to and coordination with Implementing partner
• Ensure monitoring in project supported health facilities and mid-level providers (MLPs) through routine field visits conducted by clinical mentors and other project technical staff by adhering to standard methodology.
• On-job mentoring support to MLPs for skill update, skill retention and quality improvement and follow up of the providers to ensure supportive environment in the clinical facilities.
• Plan joint monitoring visit with the mentors and also with Project team members. 
• Support Clinical Trainer and Mentors in providing mentoring and monitoring support to the project providers to improve the process and outcome of mentoring and monitoring effort.
• Organize on the job training if any facilities faced gap in trained providers.
• Conduct SPR (Service Progress Review) and provide feedback to service provider, BAPSA clinical team, Ipas HS team and relevant project team member to plan and implement corrective measure to improve service provision as per the findings.
• Provide regular follow-up and support to BAPSA clinical team in conducting SRHR learning sessions for the project SBCC team.
C) Facility readiness
• Ensure Medical instruments (models, Tenaculum, sims vaginal forceps, bivalve forceps, Kelly forceps, autoclave drums, surgical sterile Scissors, mackintosh, sterilizer etc.) and also logistics of FP, MR, PAC at the service delivery point under the project.
• Ensure availability of models (Pelvic Model, Mama U), medical instruments, MVA and other training logistic for effective practical session during all clinical trainings as per approved work plan.
• Ensure guideline, protocol, jobaid and other tool of MR, PAC and FP at the facility level.
• Support in facilitating Whole site orientation (WSO), VCAT session and Infection Prevention orientation at facility level for the managers, midwives, other service providers and facility staff to create supportive environment to the provider to ensure quality care in the facility.
D) Internal and External Coordination:
• Attend coordination meeting at facility level to maintain enabling environment for quality FP,MR,PAC, GBV service provision.
• Organize technical review and coordination meeting at local level with clinical team of Ipas and BAPSA at local level to share the site/MLPs performance on a regular and need basis.
• Assist Project manager to complete work plans as per approved work plan by UNFPA, creative briefs and delivers quarterly reports including reviewing reports and deliverables from partners and all other reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with concerned personnel, UNFPA and other key stakeholders at Bhasanchar as need based for implementation of project activities.
• Maintain local liaison to build cooperation and coordination with UNHCR, RRRC, CICs and local DGFP and DGHS to create supportive environment for Ipas’s SRH services at Bhasanchar.
• Participate in internal meetings with the local team and in-country team to address project related issues and share lessons learned from the field, program achievements, new challenges, and future directions.
• Assist Project Manager in preparing relevant project work plans, reports, budgets as per Bhasanchar context on a regular and need basis.
