JOB SUMMARY: SRE Manager is responsible for system reliability, developer productivity and striving to reduce technical debt of the applications your SRE team supports. We seek managers who are passionate about system reliability to influence and drive the strategic SRE mission.

 

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Engage, influence, and evangelize SRE practices with development, operational and product groups to align technology service/solution delivery.

2. Embed into SRE projects and on-call rotations and stay close to the operational workflows and issues.

3. Drive capacity planning, performance analysis, instrumentation and other non-functional systems requirements.

4. Drive cross-team collaboration- work with the Product development team, Dev Ops group, and Operations.

5. Support training development for end users and staff members.

6. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

7. Demonstrate commitment to the Company's core values.

JOB SCOPE: Incumbent works under minimal direction and uses independent judgment to identify issues, trends & problems and recommend action plans and evaluate results on initiatives that may not be clearly defined and are large in scope. Work is varied and complex, requiring the individual to use a broad range of knowledge gained through experience. The position works with internal and external sources to complete objectives, keeping the needs of external and internal customers as a priority when making decisions and taking action.

Preferred Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

* Minimum bachelor's degree, or HS Diploma and 4 years of related experience. Graduate degree a plus.

* 0-2 years of experience in a product, business analysis, or technical role.

* Familiarity with Agile Scrum, Lean, Kanban or SAFe methodologies, PI Planning, and product development lifecycle. Familiarity with customer journey mapping, requirements gathering, and management practices such as BDD

* Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Aha!, or similar is a plus

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

* Excellent communication, and demonstrated potential for stakeholder management abilities

* Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

* Knowledge of Healthcare industry and understanding all major workflows associated with the healthcare claim processing is beneficial

* Internship or coursework related to product management or software development

* Product Owner certification is a plus. International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certifications, AAC, CBAP or CCBA is a plus.

* Knowledge of modelling tools such as Miro, Visio, Lucidcharts, Draw.io preferred

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities in a dynamic environment.

* Proven ability to collaborate

* Skilled in building positive working relationships across various levels and functions.

* Effective at fostering trust and rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.

* Dedicated to delivering high-quality service and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

* Demonstrated ability to understand broader business goals and take initiative to drive value.

 

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $140-145k. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
