The Role

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain integration solutions using WebMethods Integration Server, Trading Networks, and related components.
  • Analyze business requirements and design integration solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
  • Prepare solutions by determining and designing system specifications, applying robust architectural patterns, applying coding standards, and programming.
  • Lead and facilitate design reviews and code reviews.
  • Lead and facilitate pre-production risk assessments and reviews.
  • Assist with code build and deployment processes.
  • Mentor development team members to help them succeed in their assignments.
  • Protect operations by improving security and by keeping information confidential.
  • Accomplish Client's mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Support and develop Clients and the technology team by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
  • Follow established HIPAA, Compliance & Security policies.

Skills and Experience You Will Need

Required:

  • 8+ years software development experience.
  • Knowledge of architecture and software fundamentals, design, and debugging.
  • 5+ years of experience with webMethods development, including Integration Server, Trading Networks, Designer, and BPM.
  • Knowledge of Unit Testing and Performance Tuning and Optimization

Desired

  • Agile Software Development Methods
  • DevOps CI/CD

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other four-year degree with significant Computer Programming OR equivalent experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
  • Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
  • Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
  • Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.
