We’re actively seeking a talented Lead Visualization Engineer to join our Consumer Markets division. This role can be fully remote or hybrid and based in Newport Beach, CA.
As a Lead Visualization Engineer, you’ll play a key role within the Advanced Analytics team to advance our reporting and visualization efforts. You will ensure that we remain agile and will be responsible for leveraging industry leading tools to develop robust reporting mechanisms to present data in a clear, actionable format to stakeholders across departments. You will report to the Director, Visualization Engineering and contribute to driving the overall visualization strategy.
How you’ll help move us forward:
- Data Visualization & Reporting
Craft and refine dashboards that display complex data streams in comprehensible visual formats. Regularly update and adapt reports in line with changing business needs and objectives. - Stakeholder Collaboration
Engage regularly with department leads to ascertain their data requirements. Conduct workshops and feedback sessions to refine advanced visual analytics offerings. - Data Integrity Assurance
Establish protocols to ensure report accuracy and consistency. Identify and rectify any discrepancies or anomalies in datasets. Collaborate closely with the Analytics Engineering team - Training & Capability Building
Roll out training sessions for internal stakeholders, ensuring optimal utilization. Develop visualization best practices and guidelines for the broader team. - Performance & Scalability
Ensure rapid dashboard responsiveness and efficient report generation. Strategize on visual analytics infrastructure scalability to support growing datasets. - Ad hoc reporting needs
Generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts.
The experience you bring:
- Passion for fostering a data-driven culture and collaborative visual analytics community.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Expert in data visualization and dashboarding best practices.
- Expert in relational and dimensional data modeling concepts and best practices.
- Advanced SQL skill is required.
- Proficiency in dbt is preferred.
- Proficiency in python is preferred.
- Proficiency in Tableau or PowerBI (certification preferred).
- Expertise with one or more cloud-based data warehouses is required such as Snowflake.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

- Knowledge of Salesforce objects and data structures

Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$144,630.00 - $176,770.00
