We are seeking a talented Sr Visual Designer to join our in-house marketing team. The ideal candidate will conceptualize, adapt and execute high level concepts and creative ideas, across a full communication landscape. You will be creating work that brings complex scientific and technical ideas to life in visually captivating ways. Part of your role will also be to collaborate with marketing teams across campaign design, producing assets whilst also helping manage all design tasks across a wide range of marketing initiatives with global reach. You are equal parts conceptual thinker and detailed, meticulous doer.
What you will be doing:
- Art direct, and design print, digital, and environmental graphics, including social media assets, brochures, online and print advertisements, experiential graphics, presentations, and field marketing tools
- Generate comprehensive on-brand design concepts and campaigns
- Execute ideas and concepts into functional and engaging solutions and be able to effectively communicate ideas and rationale to stakeholders
- Champion our brand guidelines and forward the development and implementation of branded templates and assets
- Select and edit photography
- Gather creative input from departments across the globe for internal/external collateral
- Maintain high quality output while keeping multiple projects on track in a fast-paced environment
- Use strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills to partner with members of the design, writing, channel and project management teams on a daily basis as well as stakeholders in other parts of the organization
- Manage, maintain, and archive graphic files using Bynder DAM (digital asset management system).
- Contribute to sharing best practices and helping the greater organization learn the vital nature of design
- Participate in creative team brainstorming meetings to generate strong design solutions
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, multimedia, visual arts, or related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of design experience in an agency or in house in the biotech, life science, technology, or related industry
- A portfolio that demonstrates your thinking and skill sets across multiple platforms
- Highly proficient in all required software: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Microsoft
- Passion for working with technical content
- You have experience working in a fast-paced environment, and are highly collaborative.
- Proven track record of being able to work flexibly – balancing a mix of independent projects and highly collaborative projects
- Strong fundamental design skills, including expertise in design, typography, and composition
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present and sell creative ideas
- Exceptional organization skills to meet deadlines and keep files structured
- Ability to establish good working relationships and communication across diverse teams
- Dedication to producing great work
- Strong desire to understand and protect consistent application of the brand

Nice to have skills and background:
- Video, and/or motion graphics experience
- Branding experience
- Previous experience working with digital asset management and project management tools
- Experience with AI tools - generation of video or image content
Below is the base pay range for this full-time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, and experience. At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company’s total compensation package. This role is also eligible for 10x’s equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.
