The Role

As Sr. UX Designer II, you’ll apply user-centered design principles to improve the workflow, expand the functionality, and enhance the visual appeal of websites and mobile apps.

What you’ll do:

  • Gathers requirements from users and stakeholders, defines information architecture, creates sample user personas, and documents user workflow
  • Designs wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Applies the results from user research and usability testing to create new features and improve current features.
  • Requires knowledge of visual design and wireframing/prototyping tools.
  • Perform user research, usability testing, or facilitate focus groups.
  • Familiarity with various graphic design software packages

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • An active U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance (or higher).
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7-10+ years of UX Design experience
  • Experience working on web and mobile applications in a collaborative, agile environment.
  • Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of usability principles, user research methodologies, and accessibility standards (508 compliance).
  • Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and their rationale.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on solving complex user problems through design.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
