About Team:

RX Global aims to create unforgettable experiences for attendees and exhibitors through organizing events. Innovation, creativity, and collaboration drive the company to offer exceptional services to clients.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to lead the design of impactful, user-centred product experiences across RX’s digital ecosystem. Our digital products help attendees maximise every moment at our events, planning smarter, navigating seamlessly, discovering the right opportunities and getting the most value from their time at the show. You will work end to end as a hands-on product designer, from research and concepting through to prototyping and high-fidelity design, ensuring our solutions are intuitive, accessible and aligned with business goals.

Alongside product work, you will make effective use of RX's internal design system, applying shared components and patterns where appropriate and feeding practical product-team insight back into its ongoing improvement. You will work with shared Figma libraries, follow established standards for consistency and accessibility, and help identify where patterns or guidance could better support product delivery.

This role is suited to someone who is first and foremost a strong product designer, with solid experience in customer research and a genuine enthusiasm for engaging directly with users. Reporting to the Head of UX, you will ensure your product work aligns with RX’s broader UX strategy while helping raise the standard of design across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Design and iterate high-quality product experiences informed by user research, usability testing, data, and stakeholder feedback to meet clearly defined user and business needs.

  • Define and improve information architecture, user flows, interaction patterns, and visual design to deliver intuitive, accessible, and engaging experiences across RX products.

  • Engage with users, customers, and internal stakeholders to understand use cases, pain points, behaviours, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Apply RX's internal design system in product work, using shared components, patterns, and guidance to support consistency, accessibility, and efficient delivery.

  • Provide product-team feedback into shared Figma libraries and design-system guidance, helping identify gaps, improvements, or new pattern needs as they emerge through delivery work.

  • Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible, well-understood, and effectively implemented, supporting the adoption of shared design patterns where appropriate.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to plan appropriate user testing and define success measures, using qualitative and quantitative evidence to evaluate design outcomes.

  • Advocate for user-centred design practices across projects, using research insights and customer feedback to inform decisions and influence cross-functional partners.

  • Support and mentor designers and cross-functional partners through design reviews, feedback, and knowledge sharing, helping raise the quality and consistency of design outputs.

  • Facilitate design workshops, critiques, and collaborative sessions to explore problems, validate solutions, and build shared understanding among stakeholders.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, tools, competitor experiences, and best practices in product design, applying relevant insights to improve RX's design practice.

  • Ensure design work aligns with established UX principles, design standards, and the wider RX UX strategy, in collaboration with the Head of UX.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as a UX or product designer, with a portfolio demonstrating strong craft across complex digital products.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in both product design and design system contributions.

  • A track record of taking on difficult, ambiguous design problems and driving high-quality solutions through to delivery.

  • Experience contributing to or working alongside a design system, with a solid understanding of component thinking, consistency, and accessibility standards.

  • Strong knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.

  • Strong working knowledge of user research, usability testing, and data-driven design, with the ability to synthesise insights across sources and use them to frame problems and influence decisions.

  • A genuine interest in AI and emerging design tools, with hands-on experience using them within a design practice and a collaborative approach to sharing what you learn with the team.

  • Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.

  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Collaborative, proactive, and self-starting mindset with the ability to work across multiple workstreams.

  • Experience working in agile development environments; exposure to eCommerce or large-scale content platforms is a plus.
